Partita for keyboard No. 4 in D Major, BWV 828, op. 1 no. 4 is a keyboard suite by Johann Sebastian Bach composed between 1726–1729. It is the fourth suite in his Clavier-Übung I, op. 1.

Structure

This partita consists of seven movements all in D major.

• I. Ouvertüre. The beginning of this movement is in alla breve (2/2) time and the ending is in a brisk 6/8.
• II. Allemande
• III. Courante
• IV. Aria
• V. Sarabande
• VI. Menuet
• VII. Gigue
